This painting/collage was inspired by an afternoon I spent with the famous Pop Artist Jeff Coons. The fates had us snowboarding together in the South American Andes Mountains.
This experience was a true highlight in my life.

This painting was done with ink, encaustic wax, overlayed on Japanese newspaper, on a wooden panel.
I drove by this old pastured truck for nearly ten years before I came to realize that I had a endearing connection to it.
This painting was inspired by a Steely Dan song.

Have you ever known attraction so deep that you can see colors?
I have, and this oil painting was inspired by this experience.
The genre was inspired by Gustav Klimt.

This oil painting is based on a real-life legend. His courage and spirit of disruption inspired this work.

This is actually two works combined for this image. I will post them individually as well.

This is one in a series of three bronze pieces I created using a "Waste Wax" process.

Carved out of a 400lb perfectly square block of Danby White Marble.

I carved this piece from Black Cherry Wood and burned-in kanji symbolism. I sourced white and purple sands from Nauset Beach on Cape Cod.

I carved this piece in Basswood and used a mohair wool/silk blended yarn for hair.
Interesting side note: I severed a tendon in my left hand while carving this piece. I required surgery and PT before being able to complete it.
I coupled a found coyote skull with a head I sculpted using Celluclay and sea shells on a bronze armature.
This piece symbolizes the the natural fusion between our deeply personal fears, desires, and spiritually, all too often repressed.

This piece was inspired by Auguste Rodin's work which I have studied endlessly.

This torso was carved in white Danby Marble. This is a tribute to the breast cancer survivors I have been inspired by.
